Jubilee Week Celebrated with Joy and Hope at Conversion of St. Paul Parish

From Sunday, 27 April to Sunday, 4 May 2025, the Conversion of St. Paul Parish, under the pastoral care of Rev. Fr. Pierre B., joyfully celebrated a week dedicated to the Jubilee Year of Hope.

The week began with a beautiful Opening Ceremony in Asif Town 2, where four young women made their public promise as they entered postulancy with the Dominican Sisters of Malta. Their commitment was a profound witness to a life built on the hope of Christ, setting a prayerful and inspiring tone for the week.

Midweek, the parish hosted a special Bible-study session on the biblical meaning of Jubilee, focusing on themes of liberation, restoration, and divine mercy. This session, prepared for the Boys’ and Girls’ Youth Groups, was also warmly attended by many parishioners who described themselves as “young at heart.”

The Jubilee Week concluded on a deeply spiritual note with a mini-pilgrimage from all six outlying chapels to the Parish Church, gathering the faithful together for a closing Mass that celebrated unity, hope, and the shared journey of faith.

This week of activities not only deepened the community’s understanding of the Jubilee but also rekindled the spirit of hope in the hearts of all who participated.
