The closing ceremony of the Inter-Congregational Juniorate Formation Program 2024–2025 was held on May 24 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Lahore, marking the completion of a year-long journey of deep formation for temporary professed sisters from various religious congregations.

The Holy Eucharist was presided over by His Grace Archbishop Benny Mario Travas, Apostolic Administrator of Lahore. In his homily, Archbishop Travas addressed the junior sisters, affirming that the juniorate program has been a transformative journey of spiritual, intellectual, and personal growth. He emphasized the importance of this formation period in strengthening their understanding of religious life, community living, and apostolic mission.

Following the Eucharistic celebration, Archbishop Travas presented certificates of completion to the sisters, recognizing their commitment and dedication throughout the program. A group photo was also taken in the cathedral as a joyful remembrance of this important milestone.
The celebration continued in St. Anthony’s Hall, where the junior sisters participated in a solemn and graceful closing ceremony, marked by prayer, reflection, and thanksgiving. The coordinator of the juniorate program, Sr. Nasreen Daniel SL, expressed heartfelt words of gratitude, highlighting the communal spirit that sustained the journey and reminding all present that “we are called for a greater love.”

The evening concluded with a delightful supper and a celebratory cake, bringing to a close a memorable chapter in the formation of these young religious sisters, now more deeply rooted in their vocation and mission.
The Archdiocese of Lahore extends its blessings and prayers for each of these sisters as they continue their journey in consecrated life, strengthened by formation and sustained by grace.
